Ok! So yall know I get real in these blogs because like I said I have dealt and still deal with many different concerns as a woman. But out of ALL the concerns I have dealt with (acne, hyperpigmentation, bikini-like ingrown hairs, cellulite, weight gain, hyperhidrosis (underarm sweat problem), STRETCH MARKS seem to be the concern I am the most insecure about. Let’s rewind back some. I remember very vividly getting my first set of stretch marks on my hips as a pre-teen ( I developed early and got my period at the tender age of 9 years old….a story for a different day) so while all the other third graders were playing house, hopscotch, jump rope, I was too busy examining these new zig-zag lines going up the side of butt. I didn’t know what they meant, but I hated them. Fast forward 20 years, and I am still dealing with the same zig-zag lines, however, they have now taken over my body. Not just my hips, but my thighs, butt, calves, upper arms, and some new ones on my stomach. These stretch marks started making me feel insecure and uncomfortable even in my closes-and most of the serums and lotions were not giving me the results I was looking for.
When my estie bestie Linda, a PMU artist and owner of Eyes Through Navee (Linda and I went to esthetician school together) told me she was becoming a PMU artist and specifically studying and training to be certified in Stretch Mark Rejevenuation, my heart sank from excitement. I was more than happy to be her muse and try the service out. I have completed two sessions so far and am already loving my results. So much so that Linda is coming to Glow Goals Luxury Spa 1 day a week to perform the service on our clients! I know you all will have some initial questions so I wanted to ask her so you all get familiar with this NEW and EXCITING service.
Here are some questions and answers about Stretch Mark Rejuvenation
Q: What is Stretch Mark Rejuvenation?
A: Stretch Mark Rejuvenation is a procedure that carefully creates micro-abrasions into the dermis layer with a machine while depositing a custom blend of natural oils and vitamins. This technique triggers your body’s own natural healing response and produces new collagen and elastin which improves cellular turnover and rejuvenation of Fibroblast cells.

A: During your healing time, you can expect the appearance to improve, the texture to be smoother, and the complexion to be more aligned with your natural skin tone.

A: There is no downtime from the procedure. You can return to a normal work/life balance right after.
